Favorite Links:
The list below contains my favorite links to Earth science topics, data, and educational activities. I will be adding to it as new data sources come across my desktop.

Description |
Link(s) |
| Earthquakes |
A good site for accessing USGS earthquake information. Curriculum ideas and resources are available at many grade levels. |
|
| Oceanography, general. |
This link takes you to a page of data sites that I used in my UCSB Oceanography course. |
|
| Volcanos |
Another great site hosted by Hawaiian Volcano Observatory, hosting a great deal of information about the eruption history of Kilauea, complete with movies, hazards info, and historic data. |
|
| Learning Ideas |
This is a great site with some very ineresting hands-on lesson plans. The level seems to be middle school to High School, but the ideas could be adapted for introductory college courses. |
|
| Scientific Integrity |
This is a curriculum guide, with powerpoints, student activities, and other resources to help students understand various issues related to scientific integrity. |
|
| Climate |
This is a great page that summarizes sceptics and scientists' arguments about global warming. |
